We're nearing the end of the planning phase for a new website package service here at Acqal, code named "Piscatiqua". When launched, Piscatiqua will make the customization and launching of websites for the publishing, NGO and franchise industries very easy via SaaS.

Our goal is to provide the enterprise capabilities of the TYPO3 content management framework in a manner that everyday, non-technical writers and editors can use after less than an-hour of interactive online training. Supplementing website package, will be high-quality customizations, design and templating, on-call support, online and onsite training, and webmaster services.

Furthermore, these website packages will be available at a lower price, in a shorter deployment time, and with more best practices than ever found before in a non-custom built TYPO3 website. Even better, we'll even offer a free version to let you try out SEO compatible Piscatiqua service before deciding to upgrade or not to higher-end versions.

We're not looking to deliver the end all, tons of features just to have features website. Instead, we're carefully looking at our clients and their industries and building packages purpose built: no fluff, no mess, simple and streamlined, easy to manage.

Getting To SaaS Profitably is Tough

Through Piscatiqua, Acqal is making the final adaption to the product and value revenue model from the services, time for money. This is a bit of new step for us Acqal founders and one we're very excited about.

Piscatiqua is a working name. It's not the final product name and that means that you could be naming Acqal's next generation website deployment system.
